Attendees receive a deep-dive immersion into the rich and storied history of tobacco growing in Lancaster County and learn how Drew Estate uses the savory tobacco for many of its premium cigar brands.
The 2022 Pennsylvania Barn Smoker will begin with the DE25 Exclusive Pre-Party on Friday night, July 15. With your DE25 Exclusive Pre-Party ticket, you also receive a single-day admission ticket to the Barn Smoker, creating a multi-day celebration of Drew Estate and the American tobacco experience.
Pennsylvania Barn Smoker guests will tour the Welk Family Farm and experience interactive, informative and fun educational seminars led by Drew Estate’s Ambassadors, Jonathan Drew, Willy Herrera and Pedro Gomez, and Don Welk, whose family owns the farm, on the history of Pennsylvania Broadleaf tobacco how the historic legacy of Lancaster County’s Dutch and Amish tobacco farmers continues to be honored in how the tobacco is cultivated, harvested, processed and blended into many Drew Estate premium cigar brands. Throughout the day, guests will also experience all-new interactive Drew Estate cigar brand activations for ACID Cigars, Undercrown, Tabak Especial, Herrera Estelí, Joya de Nicaragua, Pappy Van Winkle and Deadwood, as well as witness the artistic skills of Subculture Studios and meet Frankie Dranks, host of “Sticks & Sips,” at the “Sticks & Sips” Tiki Bar to receive a handcrafted cocktail and the “Sticks & Sips” cocktail and cigar pairing book.
